Welcome to Rainbow Mind
Sabine de Potter
Mindfulness Coach & Rainbow Mind Founder
My main drivers in life have always been to be healthy, to keep learning and to feel connected. Mindfulness covers it all.
I’m here to help you make things lighter, to help you discover skills that will brighten up your day, even when you feel like you’re dwelling in the darkness.
Let me walk with you and I will guide you on your path towards becoming the captain of your mind and putting an end to the mutiny of the monkey-mind. Let’s accept Nature’s always outstanding invitation to go out there, awakening our senses, and coming to our senses.
Mindfulness is my way, my tool, and my treasure (to be found at the end of the Rainbow). It helps us to look in different ways, so we naturally start to explore our inner and outer world and discover our behavioral- and thinking patterns. Shifting off auto-pilot, taking charge, we develop new strategies and gradually become a wiser and better version of ourselves.

WHAT IS MINDFULNESS?
Mindfulness is about paying attention and being aware in the present moment.
It´s about living your life in the richness of right now, not being lost in memories of the past or overwhelmed by the worries or projections of the future. It´s a simple practice that strengthens the mind´s ability to stay focused on what is happening right now and to be open to experience – meeting the present moment with kindness and non-reactivity.
In order to be able to bring mindfulness into our daily activities and make it available whenever we need it, we need to practice. Mindfulness practice includes exercises like the Body-Scan, gentle Yoga, sitting meditation and walking meditation. Besides these ´formal´ practices, we can do everything we do with mindfulness: eating, brushing our teeth, taking a shower, driving, communicating etc. In this way we not only cultivate our mindfulness skills and train our Mind-Muscle, we also increase the quality of our lives.

TESTIMONIALS
Why Rainbow Mind?

“I heard from Sabine’s services from a friend, who had been in touch with her before. And what’s better than a recommendation from somebody you know? That was back in 2012 and I was in a bit of a tricky and difficult situation then and admittedly, was not quite sure, if mindfulness or/and meditation was the right thing. Well, to cut it short: it was. I really appreciate Sabine’s holistic approach towards her clients, the possibility to match expectations against what she can deliver in a briefing before the actual sessions, and her friendly, warm and open character. The sessions were definitly worth the expense and I’m considering coming back for some more in future!”
“We have asked Sabine to coach us in Mindfulness Meditation over lunch sessions in our offices here in Zug. Due to (too) many merger and aquisitions and subsequent restructurings, our working colleagues have become rather stressed and we from Human Resources wanted to help them to be able to de-stress, unwind and focus on themselves a bit more. In the beginning we were not sure if this would work, seeing we have many employees from different nationalities, ages and experience levels with meditation. However, we can only congratulate Sabine on the wonderful implementation of these Mindfulness Meditation sessions. Every session she offers a short introduction on a Mindfulness-related topic and a matching meditation exercise. This is topped off with a suitable ‘Tip for the week’ to support and encourage the employees to integrate Mindfulness into their daily lives. She has managed very well to address all employees no matter their background. We have now had eight sessions, and more and more employees are joining and the feedback we get is great, therefore: THANK YOU Sabine from the whole team!”
„As a life-coach-in-training, I originally approached Sabine’s MBSR course with a sense of professional curiosity about what the mindfulness concept was all about. Around session three of the course, I realised that the impact of what I was learning and practicing had become intensely personal: what I had assumed would be simply learning about meditation and methods of stress reduction had in fact turned into a deep encounter with my own self. Sabine’s calm and approachable manner allowed her to expertly hold the space and balance the group throughout the course, as we all wrestled in our own ways with finding meaning from this experience. I would highly recommend Sabine’s services to anyone who wants to truly experience mindfulness, and learns how to have a deeper relationship with their own selves.”
